Something tells me that this game will sell more than 15-20+ million copies and will become the best shooter of 2012..
“Black Ops is a completely Kaasinocasino.co.uk separate project. Yes, it is part of the Call of Duty series, but it is our own novel,” said Treyarch studio head, Mark Lamia. “It’s kind of its own brand in fiction; and our work belongs to the genre of historical story, in which we, with the help of context and historical events, invent our own story.”.
Mark admits that they spent a long time and painstakingly studying the prospects of the future world in Black Ops 2, as they once did with their previous games.
“There are now a lot of books written about the technologies of the future and we are lucky to work with real experts in the world of weapons. One of them was Peter Singer (senior fellow at the Brookings Institution). We came to talk to him, as he wrote one of the main books about advanced walking robots and new drones, possibly used in future military conflicts,” says Lamia.
“We wanted to make sure we were making a real Call of Duty and not some sci-fi movie. After all, this series has always been famous for its plausibility. What used to be science fiction is now becoming reality. This is already happening, but so far at the level of newspaper headlines, but in the next ten years we will see the real future in the world of technology and weapons,” he added.
Several writers are working on the script for Black Ops 2, and the sequel will be a direct continuation of the original. It will even feature some of the characters from the first part.
“In 2025, Woods, a decrepit old man, ends up in a special institution for former CIA operatives. You, you will play for David Mason – the son of Alex Mason, and it is your hero in 2025 who decides to visit Woods in order to understand what happened to the main villain of the game – Raul Menendez and why he became angry with the whole world.".
“Gradually, Mason will learn from Woods about his past and thus we will connect the plot of the two games. The narrative itself will smoothly flow from Woods’ memories into the conflicts of the future and the hunt for Mendez.”.
The Zombie mod will also officially return to the game. Here’s what Activision PR Manager Dan Amrich had to say about the matter:
“If you love zombies, you will be very pleased with what you see in Black Ops 2. We’ve never worked with this mod like this. This is our biggest, most ambitious attempt to take the game to the next level," he said.
Regarding the future of Call Of Duty Elite, everything is very clear: “You will see a truly deep integration of this service into Black Ops 2”.
Dan also promises “non-linear elements in the single-player experience” and that the Treyarch team “has done a lot of research and this time will provide players with a truly deep dive into the realistic plot of future wars.”.
